Paul G. Cook, who joins Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein as coauthor of this edition of “They Say, I Say,” is professor of English at University of South Carolina Beaufort, where he teaches first-year writing, rhetoric, professional writing, and digital literacy. His research, focused on rhetoric and composition, misinformation, postdigital literacy, and writing pedagogy, has appeared in Pedagogy, Across the Disciplines, The WAC Journal, and English Teaching: Practice and Critique, among other venues. He is the author of Misinformation Studies and Higher Education in the Postdigital Era: Beyond Fake News, former director of writing at IU Kokomo, and a frequent speaker on writing, misinformation, AI literacy, and digital pedagogy.
